English subtitled videos (for my 1st ESO students to develop listening skills)

From January on, all the lessons will be explained entirely in english.

During this Christmas holidays, you can develop your listening skills by watching the following short videos that contain english subtitles. I have chosen some short videos related to basic scientific nomenclature and to the contents that we'll see in the following six months of class. Enjoy!

Funny talking animals (a bit difficult to understand, but funny enough to start with)

How to describe a graph (easy to follow)

On the future of the universe (long video, aprox. 45 minutes) (be patient, and if you find it too boring, leave it!!)

It will also be good for you to improve english conversation skills, to face with common communicative situations (for instance for next visit of Comenius students and teachers to Villamalea in January). There is a good collection of videos (ordered by difficulty level) in the Learning English Conversation channel (at Youtube) Choose the ones that fit to your level.
